WinModify.com is goiing to be relaunched to give you more functions, and give us more ease at changing/editing/adding things.
Our website runs on a custom made engine, This engine needs to be built again from the ground up to accomodate all the new functions of the new website. At the moment there are several people busy doiing this.
Besides the new functions on the website there are a lot more things that are goiing to change. Our first priority goes out to updating the website more frequently, more skins, more news, more of everything. We also try to focuss on a W3C valid website which means it will look good no matter what browser you use. We've spend a lot of time, money and effort in this website, And we have high hopes of the relaunch. With your help we can make this happen, Let people know what you think about our website, link us every now and than, comment on newsitems and skins, interact with other WinModify members, these are the things we need to grow. Most of these things will be encouraged in the new website.
The new website should have been online already, but as you can see it isn't due to the simple fact that it is not yet ready.
I don't want to launch a website which is half done. We expect to relaunch along with the launch of Windows 7... |
There will be a whole new design, there will be simple site skins (overall change of colours), a private messaging system, more sophisticated profiles, more management over your own skins, a custom made forum which fits perfectly into our website and needs no separate registration...
So as you can see there are some pretty drastic changes about to happen...
We'll keep you up to date...
